The villainous noble, Zenon Restinata, always loses to the goody-two-shoes protagonist of the original anime and ends up becoming a death-seeking dog by making a contract with a demon and going through a dark awakening (doom). He naturally looks down on commoners and is pretty harsh on the maid he secretly has feelings for. And that maid ends up stolen by the protagonist.

In this story, a regular anime fan ends up reincarnated into this seemingly self-inflicted fate of the villainous noble. They become a bit too obsessed with magic, have some quirky exchanges with the maid, and get confused because there are so many differences from the original anime.
