A single note arrives for Shannon, who has lived her entire life as an orphan.

On that day, Shannon falls into the Stern River from Yena Bridge and finds herself thirty years in the past. Her joy at reuniting with her parents is short-lived.

Shannon discovers that her parents are brutally mu*dered by none other than the notorious serial killer, Killian Gray. Determined, she decides to approach him.

Their eyes met directly as Killian, who had been burying his face against her chest, suddenly looked up.

“W-What do you mean, thinking…”

Shannon turned her head hastily, unable to hide her surprise.

“Should I take a guess?”

As usual, Killian’s voice showed no sign of losing his composure. Instead, he looked amused by Shannon’s flustered state, and he chuckled before casually asking, just like he always threw in his meaningless jokes.

“I wonder what would happen if I shot that pretty head of yours…”

Shannon couldn’t even breathe, let alone reply. Killian smiled deeply, then leaned down and pressed his lips against hers again. And with their breaths still mingling, he whispered teasingly once more.

“Hmm? Darling, you need to answer me.”
