Sasaki Nozomi, a member of the broadcasting and newspaper club at Ichimiya High School, receives a proposal from his close friend and class representative, Mitsuishi Koto, just before the student council elections. Mitsuishi asks Nozomi to start dating her if she becomes the student council president.

While secretly thrilled by the proposal, Nozomi and the members of the Broadcasting and Newspaper Club eagerly set out to cover the election. However, a shocking document lands in their hands—an accusation against the basketball club captain, Ishizuka Unshou, detailing his abusive hazing and power harassment.

Following the club’s reporting, the Jujou Committee—a council composed of representatives from the school’s Club Federation—convenes to address the issue. However, the student who originally reported the ab*se and the dire state of the basketball club unexpectedly withdraws from school before the committee meeting even begins.

During the heated Jujou Committee session, Ishizuka dodges questions with evasive answers. Despite his reputation plummeting among the student body, he makes a shocking announcement—he is running for student council president.

To make matters even more chaotic, Furuya Toori, a delinquent student notorious for multiple suspensions, also declares his candidacy for the presidency.

Thus begins an intense student council election campaign, with candidates utilizing social media and video-sharing sites to wage an information war.
