The Upper Beam Is Not Straight

The God of War, Tian Feng, falls in battle, and the young general, Tian Min, returns triumphant from the northern frontier only to be ambushed, rendering his legs incapable of standing, turning him into a disabled person. The new emperor conceals him, sending him to the royal mansion for recuperation.

Prince Xiu Zhao, a sibling of the emperor, is known for his charm and debauchery. Upon seeing the young general’s handsome and spirited demeanor, he develops a desire to tame him, indulging in favoritism. Unaware that he is becoming genuinely involved, he finds himself deeply entangled.

Xiu Zhao’s reputation is notorious, but Tian Min regards him as nothing more than a fraud.

To cure Tian Min, Xiu Zhao spares no effort, seeking help from other nations and even drinking poison as a pledge. He completely forgets that his initial approach to Tian Min had a different purpose.

As time flies, the young general returns with a changed demeanor, displaying even more charisma than before.

Xiu Zhao reveals two different sides in front of others and in private. Years of restrained scheming collapse when he sees Tian Min.

Tian Min is what he has sought all his life, and to have him, Xiu Zhao has wagered himself.
