Description

“Waiting for Someone,” Café. First book edition: April 2004, revised edition: January 22, 2010.

Movie adaptation released on August 15, 2014 (in Taiwan), as a Taiwanese romantic comedy film based on the novel of the name “Café. Waiting. Love” The film was directed by Jiang Jinlin (江金霖) and produced by Giddens Ko (his English name, Jiu Badao is his Chinese pen name), who is also known for his hit movie “You Are the Apple of My Eye” (那些年, 我们一起追的女孩).

Hellowyellow comment: I think this is a very refreshing teenage story where the wind of romance blows gently, producing first love without us realizing it. This story reminds me of Barbra Streisand feat. Bryan Adams’s song entitled “I Finally Found Someone.”

“It started over coffee….We started out as friends..It’s funny how from simple things…the best things begin…”
